the vice president Victoria Villarruel wrote a resolution to create an Endowment Analysis Commission (CAD) that will review the entire staff of Senate employees. They have 30 days to do so.
As soon as he considered it, Villarruel announced that he would make a room. But as they say, they found “strange cases” that deserve a deeper and more exhaustive study.
“There were appointments of contracted employees who became temporary employees and permanent employees all in the same act last year. Also “People who were paid with an electronic anklet because they are being prosecuted”they point out from the ruling party of the Upper House.
They are going to review permanent appointments, in high categories of the ladder, that did not meet the requirements of the law, such as suitability and vacancy. Also the transfers by consecutive resolutions of personnel under the modality of “service contract”, to the quality of “temporary” in order to grant them a permanent staff.
“It’s messy transversally,” they point, without pointing to any bench or specific area.
The resolution establishes that the commission will be made up of the administrative secretariat that commands Maria Laura Izzothe administrative deputy secretary, the operational coordination deputy secretary, the human resources department and the general legal affairs department.
The idea is that after a month of complete study the commission issues recommendations to “optimize the use of existing human resources”, “promote efficient and reasonable management of public, human and administrative resources.”
They state that irregular administrative acts must be revoked or replaced for reasons of illegitimacy at any time at the administrative headquarters.
One of the cases that had surprised this year was that of a senator from La Libertad Avanza: Vilma Facunda Bedia from Jujuy, who had appointed her children, her brothers, her niece and even her daughter-in-law in her office.
Due to the pressure exerted by Javier Milei and Villarruel, in the Upper House they assure that Bedia has already “requested the dismissal of several of his employees.”
Senate expenses came under fire last week after the scandalous pay raise that lawmakers themselves voted for: they were increased from $1.9 million in hand to $4.5 million.
Following the criticism, a part of the PRO bloc now requested a session request to vote on the reversal of the increase in per diems.
Kirchnerism also requested a special session for May 2. They want to discuss their project that establishes that no one in the State can earn more than the president
the audits They are a classic of incoming management. In 2020, Cristina Kirchner denounced her predecessor Gabriela Michetti for “fraud against the public administration and incompatible negotiations” in the management of the Senate after a review.
